I was pleasantly surprised after making my first cup of tea. I purchased the tea kettle and the tea infuser and I've really enjoyed the ease and flavor of the tea! The Jasmine tea was so different than any tea bags that I have used in the past. So glad that I found this!!

Best choice for a single cup of tea
What a great solution from the problems with other tea pots. The material is glass so you don't have to worry about the pot picking up tastes from many different teas. It will never rust as the strainer is stainless steel. There is enough room for the leaves to open up at the bottom. It only provides one cup but the price allows you to have more then one pot and you can make individual cups of different teas. Its about the size of a tumbler so it is is not taking up much space. Easy to strain the teas and easy to clean. Storage maybe the only problem if you have a lot of them. . Makes a great cup of tea.

Better Than Metal Inserts
The major advantages of brewing loose tea in this is that you aren’t brewing the tea in a metal insert and it’s much easier to clean. I also have the red one which is a bit smaller but I prefer the larger black one as it brews a larger cup of tea. Excellent product.

For The Love Of Tea
I just purchased one of their tea glass infusers. I have been drinking loose teas since my childhood and hands-down this has been one of my favorite brewing vessels for my loose tea leaves. I am looking forward to ordering several more to give as gifts and to use at work. It is very reasonably priced when you think of the quality of the product which is a high grade stainless steel and beautiful glass to be able to see your tea through. I have been nothing but happy with all the products and services of the Golden Moon Company.
A dear colleague introduced me to a new tea that I totally fell in love with. She gifted me a tin of loose coconut Pouchong tea from The Golden Moon Tea company. The first thing that captured my attention about this oolong tea was it’s absolutely amazing and beautiful aroma. It was a natural scent of Coconut and not a synthetic scent Then when I took my first sip, I was taken over by it’s smooth, buttery and very lightly floral taste. It’s gorgeous light golden color is what made me want to use only a glass tea pot for it! I prefer brewing it in my clear glass teapot and pouring it into my clear glass cup to enjoy the beauty of its color. This high-quality tea is definitely an experience! It is some thing I want to sit and enjoy and not some thing I’m just brewing and speeding through life with. Then when I proceeded to purchase my own tea from the Golden Moon Tea Company, I found out about their environmental practices, about their fair trade purchases and quality loose tea selections. Since that initial introduction, I have been purchasing this particular flavor for myself in 1 pound bags each time. With each order, I have been nothing but extremely satisfied!

My favorite tea pot
I have used several different methods to make tea from loose leaves over the years. Strainers, fancy ceramic tea pots, paper tea bags to be filled and on and on. This is hands down my favorite method for the excellent way it brews and for ease of use. I have two now. One for home and one for the office. When asked, I recommend this to everyone.

Love this little teapot
This little teapot is brilliant. We have the kind of steepers that are plastic that you pour in the top and the liquid comes out the bottom, and have loved those too. But when I saw these I thought I'd try them. We got a black one, but also a red and a green. They are fantastic. Same amount of "room" for the leaves to open up in, but steeping against glass and not against plastic with a steel screen seems to really make a difference in the flavor of the tea. Pop them in the dishwasher when done, and you are good to go. Love them.

The best for black/red tea!
Eilong is well known as a maker of quality teawares, and the Colorful Ring series is one of their best. The silicate glass steeps at a steady temperature, and the eponymous ring makes it easy to handle. Best of all, the lid perfectly filters out the leaf, but is super easy to clean after. I'm clumsy, so I've bought and broken a lot of teapots over the years, but this is the one I keep coming back to.

This is the perfect way to steep loose leaf teas, especially large leaves like oolongs. The size is just right for a mug and leaves can be left in the vessel for another steeping when needed. Very happy with the product.

After COVID started, and work from home became a thing, my husband picked up my habit of afternoon tea. The office life has resumed for him, and he was not thrilled with the quality of bagged teas he had at work. I got this so he could still enjoy a nice afternoon sip, using loose leaf of his choice. The size is perfect, and cleaning is easy. He likes it, and he is able to enjoy quality tea at work.

A filter that finally works!
The design of this teapot is extraordinary. It brews and then filters the tea leaves out as you pour. Finally I don't have to filter my brewed tea three or four times to remove leaves and sediment. I won't use any other type of filter in the future. I am amazed! The only thing about these tea pots is they are really small. I ordered one of each size but found I would like to brew several cups at once. These pots really only work for one 10-12 ounce serving which is too small for my taste. Do they make a larger one for several cups?

Just buy it
I've owned this for over a year now. It is the perfect size for making a single serving, which is how I prefer to brew tea when it's just me so that it's always fresh. Unlike similar items for that purpose like brewing baskets, this has NEVER imparted the slightest bit of flavor into what I'm brewing (provided it's clean, of course), it's very easy to clean either by hand or dishwasher, and while sometimes the heat from the dishwasher shrinks up the silicone seals to they don't quite seal all the way unless you put extra pressure down on the lid, this has always rectified itself after brewing a cup.
The glass has even survived some minor dings without the slightest sign of cracking, and I brew with it at least 4 times a day (often much more than that) so it's proven to be durable to constant / rapid temperature changes. I would definitely buy another, if this ever needs replacing.

Brew NOT stirred
COLORFUL RING TEAPOT I have now six! Three at home. One in the car. Yes in the car that way all I have to ask for is hot water and have a perfect cup of tea anywhere. Two at the forest house where I can take it out and enjoy a cup anytime. As you can see I hook on these wonderful Teapots. no hot pad needed to hold them. Easy to clean and the tea stays in the pot not in your cup as old fashion strainers did when the spring did not hold the strainer closed. I highly recommend these COLORFUL RING TEAPOT. Thank you keep up the great products.

So glad that I ordered this to use with the wonderful teas that I get here. I am ordering another one so that I can make tea when a guest comes over.

Great teapot
5 stars, no question as far as the design of the pot, keeping the water warm, the filter, etc. The ONLY negative is the size. I like to brew a big pot at a time and this is more of a one cup situation. I will probably buy the actual glass teapot on this site next.
William Wiseman said:
Works as expected
I have both sizes and have been using them almost daily the last couple of week with great success. At work I drink mostly Coconut Pouchong or Rooibos with the occasional Tie Guan Yin Or Dragon Well for variety. At home we have about 8 different varieties and we love the pots for almost everything. The only tea I won't makein it is a Cinnamon Rooibos (different company) that is fine enough it catches in the mesh or lets lots of little peices though. I have a a special strainer for it.
Marie said:
Serious design flaw in this teapot
I do not like this teapot. When you pour the tea, it does not pour all of the tea out of the pot. Unlike traditional spout teapots, it does you no good to invert the teapot into a cup and let the rest of the tea drip out, it just gets caught in the lid rather than draining out. This makes the teapot useless for multiple brews of sensitive teas like greens and oolongs. A total waste of money for the teas I brew. I guess it would be fine for flavored black teas which only give you one real brew. But for anything else, not what you need.

Nice little tea pot.
Put tea in glass/ tea pot, pour water of correct temp over leaves, steep for appropriate time, place lid/strainer on glass and pour. Nice, no burned fingers and is perfect for a single 14oz cup of tea. Easy to clean. AND provides plenty of space for the unfurling of Golden Moons lovely whole - not broken- leaves.

My favorite brewer for my favorite teas
I have used this little teapot for at least a couple of years. We recently replaced our kitchen counter tops with quart counters. One sleepy morning, I let the teapot tip over on the new hard counter top and was immediately worried that I had cracked it. Nope, it was still fine, but it is so important to me in my morning routine that I immediately ordered another for backup (I get the 2 cup size). Came in handy a couple days later when my cousin came by and we each wanted a different kind of tea (Golden Moon Pu-erh for me, Masala Chai for her).
I also have given these teapots as gifts in the past and they have been well loved.

I purchased this teapot as I was getting some of your teas and I am thrilled with it! I've been trying to cut down on my use of plastic and was rather horrified to find out that tea bags are made with paper pulp and plastic! I use this great tea pot at work every day and I'll be getting one for my home and probably several to give to friends this holiday season. Thank you for going plastic free on these. The larger size is perfect for nearly all the coffee mugs I've used it with. Cheers!

Very Convenient
I keep this at work and use it nearly every day.
Pros:
-Feels very solid/durable for being glass
-Perfect for one person
-Very easy clean up
-Doesn’t take up much space
-The silicone sleeve is a great insulator (it’s not too hot to touch after being filled with boiling water for several minutes)
-I’m always happy to find plastic-free dishware (which this is)
Cons:
I wish they made this in larger sizes (I think this is 8oz). Although the bright side of the small size is it gives me the opportunity to double steep my leaves and better conserve my tea stash.
