This is a smooth tasty tea and l love to drink it in the afternoon before bed time.

Tried Golden Monkey just to see what it would taste like especially after reading so many positive reviews. It really wasnt for me. I'm sticking with Tippy Earl Gray and Chai, my two favorites.

We drink a lot of tea and of all the brands we’ve tried, and all the types of tea we purchase, the Golden Monkey tea is by far our favorite. When purchasing tea we always look for pesticide free or organic.

Golden Monkey has been one of my favorite tea varieties for many years. This is my first experience purchasing it from Golden Moon Tea and it is excellent! Very smooth but full-bodied, no bitterness or astringency to deal with. I typically brew the leaves twice and the second brewing is just as good as the first, making it an excellent value, as well. Overall, you can't go wrong with Golden Monkey from Golden Moon!

Golden Monkey black tea makes my morning brighter and sets me up for a delightful day.

Golden Monkey is a beautiful tea all the way around. The clean and sweet is perfect by itself, but goes great with toast, scones or anybaked goods. My most recent purchase was as a gift for a family member who is crazy about it. Delicious and distinguished! I will continue to purchase it.

Hello - I purchased a tea container which was sent to me defective - the plastic is coming off - contacted the company and did not hear a thing - it’s a gift and I am so embarrassed - the tea seems fine not sure if our birthday friend tried it yet !

this is delicious and high quality tea. I enjoy Darjeelings but this is a close second. Nice flavor, and high quality from Golden moon as usual.

I have bought from many vendors, and I appreciate the pure, clean, delicious taste of all Golden Moon plain black teas. I personally am not a fan of added flavorings. So if you like the real deal, there is no going bag to bags from the grocery store or even wholesale bulk!

I have been drinking Golden Moon teas for many years. I always buy in bulk and have at least five different varieties in my cupboard to choose from each day. I hadn't tried Golden Monkey, mainly because of the price, but decided I'd give it a try. I love this tea! The smoky aroma is delicious as soon as the heat hits it, and the taste with a little oat milk is divine. I'm definitely a convert. Yet another wonderful tea Golden Moon!

I have enjoyed many different Golden Monkey varieties, This one has a pronounced smoke texture that I am not a fan of.

Although Golden Monkey is classified as a black tea I prefer to brew it as though it were a green tea. At the cooler temp the toasty quality of the tea comes through beautifully. I had been wanting to find a reasonably priced Golden Monkey for a few years now and this one really fits the bill, my wife and I love it as an afternoon or evening beverage.

I usually like Yunnan Noir type teas but this was a nice change for a time.

This is another fine tea from Golden Moon. It is a black tea that is a bit too smooth for my taste. There are a lot of people that will fall in love with this fine tea.
I like a tea that is a bit more like the English Breakfast black tea. Something that will take a splash of cream and come back asking is that all you have?

This is one of the finest black tees I have ever enjoyed. It is full-bodied and I can tell that there's more caffeine in it so I just have a cup a day but it is my favorite time of day! A slight sweetness, a smoky finish, and more than able to handle the honey and milk that I put into it. It was an easy choice for gifts this season for my friends! It keeps beautifully in the ziplock packaging that it comes in. I find I use less tea because of its strength so it lasts a good long time. Nothing like loose tea! There is also great peace of mind knowing that this is a clean tea, organic. This is a very easy recommend!

The tea smooth and earthy, not as floral as some with no astringency.

This was my second order of Golden Monkey Tea. It is a favorite (although with Golden Moon I have about 5 favorites) Just the right amount of flavor and smoothness, truly wonderful.

Earl Grey tea is my favorite tea to have each morning and Golden Moon's Tippy Ear Grey is the best I've ever had! Their mix of black tea in bergamot orange is the very best of all Earl Greys in my opinion. I simply can't do without it in the morning.

I think the golden monkey is kinda close to him together
It gives a slight hint of an earthy flavour
Also, there is a strong whiff of woody flavor that you smell when the wood gets wet with rain

I have been drinking tea for my whole life and have become a bit picky about it. I love Golden Moon's commitment to providing the cleanest teas. Right now my favorite is Organic Golden Monkey. To me, it is slightly malty and slightly smokey and slightly sweet, but lighter than a typical English Breakfast.

I ordered a variety of black teas to try-- French Breakfast, Golden Monkey, Sinharaja, English Breakfast, and Irish Breakfast. So far, these are my favorite teas. Great, strong flavors that pair well with milk and sugar. I love the fact that the tea is actual dried leaves, not powdery fragments like I've seen with other companies. Highly recommend!

Strong flavor that does not get as bitter as other teas. “English style” with sugar and milk really brings out the notes of chocolate

Nothing compares to this black tea. The sweet and chocolaty notes make it addictive. It's somehow bold yet smooth and is great just black or with milk. I also found adding a little sugar really draws out its unique sweetness. It re-steeps fairly well and prefer it even over a strong breakfast tea.

I love a good Yunnan, a loose leaf tea from the Yunnan province of China. You can get it with no tips all the way up to fully golden. This one has a delicious balance between those two extremes. It has a balanced, smooth flavor that has notes of honey. If you haven't tried a Yunnan tea before, this is a great one to try. I think you won't be disappointed and find this one from Golden Moon to be exceptionally tasty and delicious!

Golden Monkey is my favorite Chinese black tea. It is mild, aromatic, smooth, and sweet. It is not bitter and astringent at all (very important to me, as I am not looking to add milk and sugar and things to my tea). I will be ordering again soon.

I've been a long time fan of India's Assam and Darjeeling varieties. I recently purchased Golden Monkey for my daughter, who share how wonderful it was. I tried it for myself and discovered how delightful it is! It may eclipse Assam as my first cup of the day. If you like Assam, Darjeeling, and black breakfast teas, give Golden Monkey a try. It's a refreshing change in the black tea lineup.

Ive been a tea drinker for years. I use to use tea bags (premade) and they were alright. I switched to loose leaf maybe 3 years ago and have tried several different brands. Most were decent. But Golden Moon is by far my favorite. I’ll honestly never bother buying anything else again. I lovee the ‘golden monkey’ black tea. Its so delicious and sweet (for black tea) that I rarely use honey anymore. Its amazing. I’m on my 3rd order, and there will be many, many more to come. Thanks for the awesome tea my friends!
