I consider this a premium tea but it is worth the price. I've been buying it for at least 3 years now. I love the taste of it and it re-steeps well. Highly recommended.

Not to be hyperbolic but this tea has changed my life. It has released me from the bonds of a decades long coffee addiction. To want a cup of tea first thing in the morning and not coffee is a revolutionary act for me. The flavor is delicate and the coconut is a parting kiss. It brings a sense of relaxation and focus to the mind. 10/10 recommend.

Best green tea ever

This was my first experience with sencha green tea from Golden Moon; I normally drink Dragon Well. The sencha experience was completely new and different: Very subtle and refined, Delicious tea cup after cup.

I am new to trying this sencha tea so hard for me to judge but I like it very much.
I was careful not to let it steep very long as one is not supposed to.
I did add milk but nothing else and enjoyed it this way.
I will be back to order more and try some other kinds also.

The Sencha green tea is the first green tea that I have really enjoyed. It is balanced, flavorful and not bitter. I am delighted to have found this tea, particularly because I am looking for an "all day" low caffeine tea to drink on work days.

Goldenmoin tea, especially the Sencha appears to be very fresh and pure, it has such a bright green glow, the taste is great.

This Sencha is my favorite from Golden Moon. It is is fresh and goes down smooth. I use 2 teaspoons and get at least 3 steeps out of it.

Having started with a sampler pack, I was able to identify 7 or 8 green and black teas that I love. With the green teas, Genmaicha Matcha is a pure joy, Dragon Well is flavorful and the Sencha is amazing -not grassy at all like some Japanese teas. Every day I drink a pot of one of the green teas and one of the black teas. You really cannot go wrong with any of them and you will find the flavors are crisp, fresh and not bitter at all -not even when I purposely over steep (to gain more antioxidants). I had sencha in Japan when I was there many years ago. This tea tastes just like what I had there. I highly recommend it.

I hosted Japanese exchange students every summer for most of my childhood; they always brought green tea with them and this is as close as it gets unless you walk into a store in Japan. I love it so much.

This is a very nice quality Sencha! It is light and a beautiful green color (as long as you don't burn it). I love this tea, it is my favorite.

This tea has spoiled me for other green teas, and I now have a recurring order. Light, delicate, clean and pure. Just have to be careful not to overbrew or use water that is too hot, otherwise it can get bitter. I am now a total believer and convert to never using tea bags or non full leaf tea. It has taken me a few years to learn exactly how such fine tea as this must be brewed. I believe most occasional tea drinkers don't understand green tea because they have never had it correctly brewed! With excellent directions on this Sencha's packaging, and knowing the tea is as pure and untampered as you can get, this is the way to fall in love with Sencha. Love it. It truly transports me a wonderful place.

I saw on a famous doctor show how healthy green tea is for you. I knew this but didn't like the taste but after hearing all the health benefits on that t.v.show and how she (the person) didnt like the taste but would hold her nose and drink it down. I started drinking it again, stomach problem and construction solved,more energy,feel better. I can take the taste of Sencha green tea and I'm a coffe drinker also.

I like the flavor and the bouquet of the Sencha Green Tea. I've ordered it several times and the product is very consistent. And it really is loose "leaf" tea. I've purchased from other retailers and their loose leaf tea needs a mesh tea bag because the particles are so small and inferior to Golden Moon's Sencha Green Tea. Also, ordering is easy and I get my order in a timely fashion.

I really like Golden Moon. I have ordered from them either here or amazon for years, and they are always trustworthy and reliable. Other than i wish they 'd offer a returning customer discount :) i am a happy loyal customer though. I only tried this on a whim because it is a bit expensive for me. I normally drink dragon well and roobios. I have to say i think this is my among my favorite green tea. It has a more grassy flavor which is different, but what i really like is it is kind of soft, why staying full bodied-- mild but satisfying. It also doesn't give any stomach issues or have any distinctive taste that takes away form the natural flavor of the tea, i'd image. And smells really nice. Don't get me wrong though Dragon well is really nice too. I assume it is cheaper because of where it is grown. It isn't really worse, just completely different. IT is really interesting how much difference there is in flavor when it comes form the same plant.

When I want something that feels healthy and light and calming, this Sencha is what I reach for.

I really enjoy all the Golden Moon teas, especially the Sencha and Golden Monkey. I drink tea every day, all day and these are the best teas I’ve had.

Delicious. I love this tea, the dragonwell, and the genmaicha which is Sencha with matcha. They each have a unique flavor and I love to alternate them. Golden Moon Tea is the most flavorful tea I’ve ever bought; we have loved every single tea we have purchased here and highly recommend to everyone! (Everyone who comes over and drinks tea asks where we get it too - there’s a difference!)

I have ordered several teas from Golden Moon and am always pleased with my purchase. Green teas are generally not my “go to “ but wanted a less caffeinated tea than I usually drink. Very pleased with the taste! Like to drink it later in the day.

What a fun, beautiful tea. The way it unfolds as it steeps. A bit of bitterness, gives me an excuse to use one more teaspoon of honey.

This is excellent quality sencha. My husband likes it strong, and I like it lighter, but we have found that both these can be accomplished nicely at 165 F degrees - I take some out of the pot first, and my husband leaves it in for a little longer. No matter which way you prefer, the flavor is fragrant!

I enjoy this tea in the afternoon when I don’t much caffeine. The flavor is a bit on the grassy side but not too strong like other Japanese green teas I have had. This one will be a pantry staple.

I wasn't sure about this when I opened it; it smells like wet grass. But don't worry, it tastes better than it smells! It is a very strong flavored tea, so don't do like I did the first time I made it and over-brew it! It has a very nice flavor actually, after a couple of sips I quite liked it! The color doesn't get all that dark, which always fools me into steeping it too long!

It's definitely a nice quality tea-- but it's not my favorite flavor. Can't complain-- I think it's an issue in that I don't like Sencha.

The tea was okay , but was unable to use the glass teapot with glass infuser , that I purchased from Golden Moon tea . It kept plugging up the infuser. I prefer Golden Moon's Dragonwell tea .

A flavorful sencha with a slight sweetness. I loved this tea. I purchased this and the dragonwell, which was flavorless in comparison. Will definitely purchase again.

This tea tastes like a beautiful meadow on a sunny, breezy day. It is smooth and delicous and has a special power to refresh you like a dip in a cool mountain stream on a hot and sunny day. I have enjoyed it both hot and iced.
